Two brothers, Robert and Simon, learn of the legendary monster known as the Zardhe and of the beautiful princess who will marry the man that slays it. They're warned to steer clear of the Zardhe and the labyrinth where it resides, but while Robert heeds this warning Simon does not.

 Once Simon comes of age he ventures off to slay the Zardhe and win the heart of the princess he's developed an obsession with. Robert follows Simon and tries to convince him to turn back, but soon realizes his brother won't be swayed so easily...
